Updates from Brain Builders International, this is what Faoranti Damilola Fash said…
I wrote the UTME (Unified tertiary matriculation exam) twice. Though, my first sitting helped me secure a university admission, I felt dissatisfied and robbed.
How can a whole Senior Prefect Boy, like me, in secondary school be studying Biology Education in a prestigious University like Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State, Nigeria?
One ‘prophet’, out of the blues, had earlier said to me, ‘Fash, I saw you in white overalls and what it means is that you must enter the medical profession as your career path’.
So, when the first admission didn’t look like it, I made sure, I must write another exam to prove his ‘prophecy’ true.
Thankfully, my common sense got restored in the middle of all these.
I started learning about Who I Am. I started identifying the silent whispers that my life history has been telling me. I began my self-discovery journey. Books opened up my mind and the Bible fed my Spirit.
I found out that, I had always loved to teach, I had been doing it, almost professionally, my friends had gotten tangible results through this gift.
Yet, I was feeling robbed that the university didn’t offer me pharmacy! What a life. Why do we run after certain things because of what the society (think or) will think about us?
My friend, your life has been telling you something. You only have to quiet down, listen intentionally and kick-start your awesome dreams. Every other thing you’ll need to pursue that dream will fall in place.
Your gifts, talents and ingenuity has been showing to your friends, ask them, and you’ll be shocked that you’re more and highly celebrated than you think.
Same with your relationships, same with your career, same with your (insert what you want here)…
And there’s a process that I later found out that makes this self-inventory thing very easy. Find yours too.

It was great sharing with the students at Taoheed Secondary School, Ilorin, yesterday through Brain Builders International.
I couldn’t tell them this story, I only had to show them practically, through their own gifts, hobby, talents and the story of their lives how what they want to become is possible!
Done And Dusted.
