Kwara State University, also known as KWASU, is the 77th university to be registered by the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC). It is the 95th university to be recognized in Nigeria. The university was established by the administration of Dr Bukola Saraki in 2009 and envisioned to be more than a typical university in Nigeria due to her fast academic calendar and unique offerings.
The University has released her school fees for the 2019/2020 academic session and it’s available on the school website.
According to the information available on the school website, Kwara State University, Malete has released the amount to be paid by each student according to their departments and course of study. The school fees is in two categories for Indigene and Non-Indigene of Kwara State.

- Sum of N2,500 for Handbook – All students
- Biochemistry students from 100 – 300 Level – N5,000
- Tourism, Merchandising and Hospitality Management for all students – N5,000
- 400 Level Education Students (Teaching Practice Exercise) – N20,000
- Teaching Practice Exercise for 300 Level Education students – N18,000
- All geology students must add additional N25,000 for field work
- College of Agriculture: Excursion N9,000 / College Professional Registration N1,000 / Farming Practice Training (FPT) N40,000
- College of Education: Teaching Practice N12,000
- Early Childhood: Departmental Level N2,500 / Excursion N1,500 / Association Fees: N5,000
