200 Kwara students gets exam fee

A politician, Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, has paid for the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) fees of 200 students in Kwara State.
Each of the 200 secondary school students received N25, 000 to pay for the exams which will hold between May and June 2017.Speaking during the disbursement of the money and other empowerment materials, Abdurasaq who was represented by his Private Personal Assistant, Mr. Abdullateef Oloyin, said the gesture was to assist students whose parents cannot afford their exam fees.
“The programme is first of its kind and it is going to be every three months. For today’s empowerment my boss spent N30 million and there  still going to be more of it.
“Today, we are distributing 10 motorcycles, 50 sewing machines, 40 deep freezers, N25,000 each to 200 students who are sitting for WAEC this year as well as business empowerment of N20,000 each for 200 women,” Oloyin said.
