According to Dosunmu, the education fair which is expected to hold in seven cities across six states, will witness the participation of 10 british, two Canadian, one American and one Australian Universities.
“The International Education Fair is a gathering of foreign institutions with partnership with MOD Education which started four years ago. The 2017 edition is expected to be bigger than previous years because we shall be having 14 higher institutions of learning all of which have been adjudged to be of respectable standards by their respective countries regulatory bodies.
“And in order to enhance their accessibility among prospecting Nigerian students, we have decided to host the education fair in Kano, Victoria Island, Ikeja, Warri, Abuja, Calabar and Port Harcourt, all of the places we have our branches across the country,” Dosunmu said.
On the challenges of foreign exchange and the recession that currently hamper parents’ ability to pay their children tuitions in foreign varsities, the Managing Director said the MOD Education has negotiated the best deal for prospective students that come through it which is often in form of scholarships, discounts and flexible payment plans.
“As we all know that thousands of Nigerian students seek admission to the available Universities in the country but often end up not being admitted because of the few available spaces. The education fair of this nature thus offer opportunity for students to be choosy while exposing them to the outside world,” he said.
